Preheat oven to 425.
Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
Using a cheese grater, grate the cold butter into the flour mixture. Toss into the flour mixture until combined.
Stir in chocolate chips, eggs, coffee and vanilla extract.
Mix in half and half. The amount needed will vary, feel free to add more if the dough is too dry.
Empty dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead slightly to incorporate and drier bits. Form dough into a circle, then press out until it is about an inch thick.
Slice dough into triangles, then move the triangles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Let dough rest in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
Brush dough with milk and sparkling sugar right before baking. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden. Enjoy!
