Happy St Patrick’s Day! Ok we are a day early but I couldn’t resist. This recipe was too good to hold on to and beyond easy to make. If you can slice evenly and have a steady hand with the seasoning, you can do this! These Roasted Cabbage Steaks are a quick and easy side that will be perfect for your St Patrick’s Day meal!
This recipe also had me thinking, why don’t we eat cabbage more? It’s cheap, easy to cook with and super easy to season. Why does it have to be saved for the likes of cole slaw and ignored sides? I vote for a cabbage rebranding!
Any who, enjoy your St Patrick’s Day celebrations and stay safe!

I grew up eating lots of cabbage, especially during winter months. I love how you prepared it… like a steak. Perfect for vegetarians or people on diet. Pinned!
I grew up in a VERY polish family, so cabbage is no stranger to me! Though we usually make stuffed cabbage or pierogi with it in my house. Glad you like it!
Im late to the cabbage party….. had my first cabbage roll over the weekend. (seriously!)
Now Im hooked, This looks easy and yummy!
Cabbage is so underused! Maybe there will be a cabbage roll recipe on your blog soon 😉
