Do you ever have those moments where you say “screw it, I’m not doing anything for dinner?” Yup, that happens several times a week here and my new trick to get around that is to create one pan meals where you can dump it onto one pan with minimal effort and call it a day. I swear I like food, but there are just some nights when my brain is fried! My recipe for Kielbasa and Cabbage Sheet Pan Roast is the perfect pick for an easy dinner!
I am a bit biased towards this dish because of my Polish roots. Kielbasa + cabbage is the ultimate polish combination and anyone can tell you this. I doused this in a whole grain mustard vinaigrette that went well with everything on the plate. When you think of polish/german foods, you also think of mustard. And this recipe is no different.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but I’ve begun shifting the focus of my blog to easy, hearty meals. I find that those are the recipes that both I and readers resonate the most with. And honestly it’s been fun tightening my niche and researching what works best. I’ll definitely be putting desserts on the back burner, however they’ll still pop up every now and then. My sweet tooth won’t let them go completely 🙂
I’ve spoken about my kitten Arya in length on other posts and on Instagram, but with each day she gets weirder and weirder. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s hilarious, but we always find ourselves asking “Have we ever seen a cat do that?” She sleeps upside down, completely stretched out, she chases her tail, she hisses at oranges, the list goes on and on haha. She’s a weirdo, but you know what? She’s our weirdo!
In other news, Tai’s dad will be visiting us in San Francisco soon! We have no idea what to do while he’s here, so if you have any suggestions please let us know! Nothing is too touristy because Tai and I haven’t seen most of the city yet. So bring on the tourist traps, we want to see them and go further afield. Maybe Napa, Yosemite, Redwoods? We aren’t sure yet!
Let me know what you think of the recipe below, I’d love to hear from you!
