I visited my parents recently and they gave me some honey a friend had given them. I’m not an expert on honey, far from it, but let me tell you that this is the most fragrant and fruity flavored honey that I’ve ever tasted. It’s hard to believe this was harvested not far from our house and not from some overpriced health food store! I honestly can’t get enough of this honey and decided to make a Honey Lime Cauliflower with it to test it out.
Cauliflower is one of those vegetables that doesn’t taste like a vegetable. Meaning that it’s rather tasteless and you can season it many different ways. I’ve seen a lot of savory preparations so I wanted to go the opposite route and try a sweet tangy recipe. And it was awesome. Tai even ate all of the cauliflower on his plate, and that’s saying something!
What I also like about this recipe is how quick and easy it is to make. It’s one of those where I can quickly put it together, through it in the oven, watch a bit of TV and then be ready to eat by the time the episode is done. Now that’s my type of meal!
So grab some limes and enjoy this recipe!
