Thanks for checking out my blog. I created this blog when I was living in Brooklyn and just learning how to cook. Fast forward a couple years and I’m now in the city by the bay, San Francisco, CA and loving it.
My blog is all about comfort food. The food that you’d eat on a cold winter day, that fills your stomach and makes you happy. I draw my influence from family and traditional recipes I ate while growing up in New Hampshire (and man, does it get cold there!). Now that I’m in California I like to mix in seasonal vegetables and other finds from the amazing farmers markets along the coast. Although I miss the Northeast, the West Coast has had the best farmers markets hands down!
I work full time as a photography manager at a major Ecommerce company but before that I was helping produce photo shoots for magazines like Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Vogue, and Vanity Fair and for brands like Ray-Ban. I’ve worked in the production office for renowned photographer Mark Seliger before transitioning into ecommerce. After being on set with celebrities like Eminem, John Goodman, Will Forte, The Voice Coaches, and Avicii, it’s great to be able to have a less stressful production day and blog from my home 🙂
Work with Me
I’ve had the honor of working with some awesome brands so far in my blogging career! I’m a professional photographer at my day job and manage a photo studio for a luxury fashion ecommerce company. Previously I worked in photo shoot production and helped produce photo shoots for major magazines, brands and ad agencies. From recipe creation, to photography, to writing, I’m available to create unique content for you. Please feel free to reach out to me at TheBrooklynCook@Gmail.com and check out my photography portfolio at www.BoulePhoto.com so we can discuss our next venture!
